Virginia Tech Writing Contest
This was in response to the tragic on-campus shooting at Virginia Tech in the Spring of 2007. The Ohio Northern University English Department and Sigma Tau Delta english honor society raised funds to award two winners who showed exceptional control of language within the writer's chosen genre while responding to the tragedy at the school.
