- First, for our Christmas service project, we are buying stuff for kids in Afghanistan. Here is the list:
* pens
* pencils and handheld pencil sharpeners
* clipboards for the kids to write on
* folders
* crayons
* coloring books for the younger children
* stuffed animals
* toy cars (matchbox cars)
* candy (individually wrapped stuff)
* paper notebooks for the older children
* markers
* soccer balls and footballs
* dolls
THERE IS A SPECIAL NEED FOR STUFFED ANIMALS!!! We will collect these items at our December meeting.
- The Kairos application deadline has been extended to Wednesday December 9th. You can return the applications to Cara Scroeder (Unit 3611).
- There is a Christmas Conference in Indianapolis from December 28th through january 1st. The cost is $199 if you register before December 7th. If you would like more information, please contact Ashley Neltner (a-neltner@onu.edu)
- I am collecting t-shirt money. You can send checks to me (Jaclyn Purgert- Unit 3611) made out to ONU Newman Club. It is $11 for S to XL and $13 for XXL. We should have the shirts at the December meeting.
- We will be having a card party on Saturday December 5th from 8-11pm in Affinity Commons. there will be refreshments!! Come have fun and enjoy some friendly companionship! Hope to see you all there!
- We will be cleaning the church on Saturday December 12th from 10:30am to 12:30pm. Lunch will be provided! We will be meeting at the Mac fountain before going to the church for anyone that needs a ride.
- This is a reminder that B to the 3 will be held at 7pm on November 30th.
- Finally, our next meeting will be at Dr. Milks's house. We will be having a White Elephant gift exchange for fun, so bring some fun surprises that are wrapped to put into our pile! If you have questions about White Elephant, please feel free to email me.
