2008 Fall Events
- In September, we welcomed all new and returning students to ONU at Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes and had a Welcome Reception following Mass.
- In October, we held our annual Fall Retreat at the Parish Hall. The night was filled with fun and games, fellowship, and prayer.
- Following the retreat we went to a haunted house called The Fear Factory in Findlay.
- In November, we helped at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish by cleaning and polishing the pews and other wooden pieces in the Church.
- We also made Buckeyes for the Parish Bazaar which is held in November every year.

2008 Spring Events
- In April, several Newman Club members traveled to Carey, Ohio (east of Findlay) to visit the National Shrine of Our Lady of Consolation.
- We prayed the rosary for an hour as part of ONU's 24/7 Prayer, which lasts the entire month of April.
- Officer elections and an ice cream social were held at the April meeting. Congrats to new officers Anthony, Liz and Ashley as well as returning officers Joan, Kristen, Audrey, Maria, and Pete (back from co-op). Good luck to Julie (studying abroad in China), the graduating seniors, Kelly and Bill, and Jacquelyn as she enters her fifth year of pharmacy.
- In March, we presented Stations of the Cross at Chapel for the fourth year under the direction of Bill, who changed things up by using Mary's version of the Stations. Dan Jones took up the role as Jesus with Kristen Craig filling the role of Mary for the third year.
- Shortly after the Stations, we held our 2nd annual Spaghetti Dinner to raise money for our Relay for Life team. It was a big success- thanks to all those who helped and/or ate! Afterwards, several members stuck around to help build our entry (Washington Monument and Lincoln Memorial) into Habitat for Humanity's Lego Contest in our efforts to reclaim our title.
