Both the womens and mens team were scheduled to play against Oberlin. In Cleveland the melting snow had turned the local fields into mud baths, unfit to play rugby. Both matches therefor got canceled.
Our own pitch in Ada wasn't in much better shaped. Despite the horrible condition of the field two inter squad scrimmage were played; supposedly to stay fit and to work up an appetite for the st. Patrick's day celebrations. The result: 32 muddy shirts, a pitch full of craters and canyons, and one hell of an appetite. |
