AMA has approximately 35 members.

It is a collegiate chapter of the greater American Marketing Association
based in Chicago.

Our main goal is that of marketing education and marketing career
support.

These things are accomplished through our own chapter programming and
regional as well as national conferences.

Our club's main yearly goal is to send as many students as possible to
the national conference where they can participate in leadership
workshops, career programs, and marketing competitions.

Our club has won Twelve national awards (in various categories) during the
last ten years competing with over three hundred other collegiate clubs
annually.

One event that we always enter is the trade show competition where a
trade show booth is created around a given theme and then displayed at
the conference. We have won several honors and national awards in this
event. We have also been asked to demonstrate our fundraising ideas in
leadership sessions as we have shown excellence in that area of our
organization.

The club has certain specific guidelines it must follow to maintain
active status from the national office. One unique aspect of this is
that we much create a ten page chapter plan each fall and concluding
chapter report at the end of the academic year. They are sent to the
national office where they are reviewed. This review then results in
the retainment or denial of active status.

The national conference is located in New Orleans each year.

As one example of a college service, the club assists in the
organization and operation of Mock Interview Day. This is an event
where 30+ businesses are invited to the college to provide practice
(mock) interviews to CBA students. Along with Mock Interview Day,
the organization also helps the college with mailings that are sent to
mass audiences such as the students. The organization also likes to
help out the surrounding community as we have wrapped gifts in
cooperation with helping H.A.N.D.S. for less fortunate families in
Kenton, Ohio.
