The Student Investment Group began its portfolio in 1989 with $41,000. Currently it is worth over $120,000. Members meet every other week to discuss and make decisions regarding their holdings.

The Field Trip

In addition to experiencing the world of finance on paper through their investments, members of the Student Investment Group are given the opportunity to visit a financial institution and see first-hand the inner workings of the investment business.
